MID-TERM AUDIT CONTEXT
Mid-term audits generally apply to registered providers that completed a certification audit. The NDIS Commission states they are completed 18 months into the registration period, subject to the provider's registration conditions and audit scope.

The NDIS Commission renewal process includes a self-assessment against applicable NDIS Practice Standards, an audit and Commission assessment. Providers may also add or remove registration groups during renewal.

MID-TERM TIMING

For providers subject to a mid-term audit, the Commission says preparation should begin around 12 months after registration and the audit is finalised by 18 months.

RENEWAL TIMING

A current registered provider can start renewal at any time in the 6 months before its registration expiry date.

PRAVIDA SERVICE REQUIREMENT
Pravida requires a minimum of 2 months' notice before the provider's applicable audit or registration renewal deadline.
